The Silk Industries of Medieval Paris: Artisanal… door Sharon Farmer
I feel a little bad in saying this, because I respect Sharon Farmer's work enormously and because this book is clearly based on many years of immersion in the archives, but The Silk Industries of Medieval Paris felt like the result of a scholar insisting to herself that what she had found in the sources should be a monograph rather than three or four disparate journal articles. Splitting the book up into its component parts would have made each of them stronger.
