This book is an introduction to musical instruments for younger children, and it's well done. The pictures are bright and active, the rhymes flow easily, and the onomatopoeias are fun to read out loud.

This is a wonderfully illustrated book meant to teach how the various instruments come together to make a lovely sounding orchestra. Well worth the accolades!

When this book begins, the trombone is playing all by itself. But soon a trumpet makes a duet, a french horn a trio, and so on until the entire orchestra is assembled on stage. Written in elegant and rhythmic verse and illustrated with playful and flowing artwork, this unique counting book is the perfect introduction to musical groups.
