Soon she's learning that none of them are who they thought they were, and instead they're caught in the middle of a big social change surrounding questions about what it means to be human. My one complaint is that this is clearly getting pretty dark by the end: not abnormally so for the genre but darker and more violent than I personally like to read.

The opening hooked me right away, I felt like I’d been dropped right into a movie with the vivid descriptions. The plot pulls you along at a good pace, but the way Sweet reveals details about the world and characters keeps you wanting to read more to learn more. Even though I hate info dumps, sometimes a trickle of information can be just as frustrating, yet Sweet pulls it off expertly, feeding you just enough to keep you wanting more. I cannot recommend this enough for thriller and sci-fi lovers – if you enjoy either genre, you’re sure to enjoy this!… (meer)
