Lots of information on technology development, challenges encountered, organizational changes and actions of famous WW2 Italian Navy raiding unit. Book provides lots of details and excerpts from after-action reports of the divers and submarine operators give a lot of insight into way actions were planned and executed.

Although struggling with the sensitivity and inadequacy (at the time) of technical equipment these raiders performed very well and basically set the standard for all WW2 and post-WW2 navy diver and sabotage units all over the world.

Only "negative" thing I have noticed is that book might have taken slightly more editing and proofreading. But again for me this was minor issue and did not prevent me from enjoying the book.

Excellent book, highly recommended for all military and navy enthusiasts.… (meer)
