Over mijn bibliotheek
I am particularly fond of Science Fiction (the harder fiction as opposed to fantasy although I may have the odd fantasy book in here!).

I also love the Scandinavian writers that appear to be popular these days.

Gritty memoirs of real life struggles may also pop up in the library, you know stories about drugs, alcohol, mental illness etc all that happy kind of stuff.

Psychology, the dream world and esoteric works used to be a real interest of mine. This has waned a little of late (I can be a bit fickle and changeable) but an interest in such items will be present in the library.

I may also have a few of the 'classics' but you can bet most of those remain unread. I probably have ideas and pretensions way above my station...
Over mij
I used to love books with a passion, one that I am trying to regain. I would relish every Saturday, many years ago, wondering into a book shop (remember them??), taking in the scent of the new books and feeling a slight quiver of excitement as I would choose a new book to read. But that was quite a while back and since the rise of the internet, work, life, stress and finding things lurking behind the cooker that shouldn't be there, well, things like picking up a book has been that little bit harder....
Nonetheless I have found you all here and have begun to feel that old excitement rise as I start to sniff around bookshops again...Ah rejoice! May those crumbs remain ever more behind my cooker...
