I have chosen mainly spirituality books as well as mainstream/literary novels. My favorite authors include: Barbara Kingsolver, Elizabeth Berg, Jennifer Lauck, Jeanette Walls, Mary Karr, Tobias Wolfe, John Irving, John Updike, and Kent Haruf.

After writing three books with coauthors and teaching writing at a local college, I finally published my debut novel, The Fence My Father Built, (Abingdon Press, October 2009). It's contemporary women's fiction and it does have a faith element. I love to read, write and mentor other writers from my home in Oregon.
