Over mijn bibliotheek
I really love books (and bookstores, and libraries) and so I have far far too many. I read constantly, and have managed to keep a pleasure-reading-every-day habit through all of grad school, medical school and residency so far. I spend a lot of time in bookstores, so my library has a lot of books that fall in the "To Be Read" Category... but I think that I like it that way. The current state of my list does not reflect actual books that I currently have, because (1) there have been a couple of major purges associated with moves in the last couple of years and I haven't cleaned up the listing yet and (2) I often don’t add newly purchased books to the list until I’ve read them. I'll get to that, maybe soon, maybe never.

As for collections: The "Read But Not Owned" is not at all comprehensive, just books that I have read during years when I was attempting to keep my records here but don't own, mostly from the library. I am making no attempt to go back in time, only to add books going forward. "Andrew's books" are books that my husband contributed to our collective library, only a small number of which I have read, but merging lives, merging libraries. I haven't decided what to do with the "Wish List" and "To Read" categories, so they should be considered pretty much meaningless and not updated until further notice.
