Over mijn boekenOver the years, I've accumulated loads of books. The main topics are genealogy, local history (Gelderland, Zeeland, Overijssel, Noord-Brabant, Wisconsin), emigration (mainly nineteenth century stuff) and cartography. For even more fun, I read a lot of fantasy books and historical novels or biographies. thank you very much for being my Secret Santa! There was a bit of a problem with Amazon where I hadn't received the delivery, but they resent them and I now finally have both of them - yippee. I've started the David Farland one already and the other one is sat looking at me. I agree, the fun is having a new author to discover, so again, thank you very much and Happy New Year,
Jo

I would also like to visit the Netherlands. Where should I go first when visiting the Netherlands?

As for Sharon Kay Penman, I have not read her, but I've had many other people suggest her, and she is definitely on my list. I wish I had more time to read than I do. I only have about 15 to 30 mins of reading time each night; my schedule keeps me fairly busy.
I would love to visit an authentic medieval castle, but I don't get that opportunity much living here in the United States. Which castles have you visited?
