Hi, not sure if this is the right forum, but:
1. The recent update seems to have disabled spoiler tags - i.e. previously hidden text now shows.
2. When using "Reply" in threads, my comments get eaten half of the time. Replying manually (and inserting the > myself) seems to be more successful.
(Using laptops on Chrome and Opera, as well as tablet (Chrome).)

1. Verified, thanks!
2. Testing and will pass along.

Okay, since I can't reproduce that right now, can you explain more about your comments getting "eaten"? What exactly happens half the time for you?

>3 kristilabrie: I hit "Reply" and type my comment. Then click save message. No comment is added to the thread.
It seems to happen inconsistently, but mostly when hitting "Reply" rather than adding a new comment (and manually adding the ">#").
As a work-around, I've taken to composing my comment in a separate document (or copying it) before hitting Save Message, but this is only viable when typing on the pc/laptop as it is a pain when trying to add comments from my tablet.

>4 BrokenTune: Btw, it just did it again with my comment in #4.
I had to post this twice. The second time, I did not hit "Reply" and posted a new comment from "Add message" adding the reply to ># manually.

Also, is it possible that there was a change to the background colour, or that the colour when highlighting text (e.g. when trying to copy and paste) is set to the same colour? It no longer highlights text, i.e. all appears transparent/white. It copies, but it is not visible of what text I'm highlighting for copying.

Oh yes, that's a known bug: https://www.librarything.com/topic/325384#7289119

Fixed spoilers.

Also fixed highlighting, fwiw.

Btw, I love the new look, and it is so much easier to navigate from a tablet now.

Could the fix have affected the Comments field in the Database? I'm trying to add comments to a series of books today, but they don't hold.
I type in the comment, hit save, and the comment is there. I navigate way from the page, and when I come back it's not there.

What are you entering in for the comment field? Also, what operating system (i.e. Windows 7, etc.) and web browser (i.e. Google Chrome version 46, etc.) are you using? I can take a closer look.

>17 robnbrwn: If you navigate back by back button, it often shows the 'old' page, without edits. Reloading/refreshing the page solves the problem in that case

aaaaannnnnddddd...
Now I go back, and it IS there. Does it take some time for the fields to update? Is there a batch run? I'm happy to wait if I know it's coming.

You may have been caught by a server hiccup -- one of the LT servers lagging a bit behind. It should be instantaneous but when the hiccup happens, it can take a few seconds (and rarely minutes or longer if the server needs a kick) for that server to catch up.
Or there may be a caching enabled somewhere (your router, your ISP, your browser?) which does not reload the page on reopening all the time.
