While the story is great in the triumphant "return of the Heroes", simply put, it is in fact the art that just about steal the show. Alex Ross's art elevates the artform known as comic books. ( )

unlike the dark knight returns (probably the most overrated comic of all time), this is a dystopian dc future done right. it does falter (mainly in the new characters that are hard to find interesting), but i really like what's done overall with the existing dc titans. ( )
