I'm not sure I found the characters believable. They were sexy, and in their own way quite cute. Had they been created with any other story in mind, I would have loved them. I would have loved the misunderstandings, the complete opposites that they represented. But as top agents in some super secret government "department" No, that just didn't work. They couldn't seem to get things together under fire. They seemed to constantly let life get in the way of their work. It just didn't gel with me.
And the timeline was very rushed. The book is over 300 pages long but it was still rushed. And with the inconsistency of the timeframe and the medical issues... well that was just the final straw.
I'm glad I've finally gotten it off my TBR pile, but when usually I love this authors writing, this one just isn't for me. (
