In a much needed piece of scholarly work, written in a very accessible way, Charles Hill stands up and, not being ashamed of the Gospels, declares aloud, 'Yes, God has really said!" This book comes highly recommended. Thus, among the many competing accounts of Gospel selection, Hill's volume would be a good choice.
The Bible contains four Gospels which tell the story of Jesus of Nazareth. And yet, many more Gospels once existed.
