"Stan Lee's How to Draw Comics" is a wonderful guide to, well... drawing comics. It covers a lot- from perspective to creating characters. Along with tips and tricks, the book also holds some information on the history of comics. By this I mean the gold, silver, and bronze ages of comics, also including great influencers on the creation of comics. The book showcases some incredible art by illustrators such as Neal Adams and Jack Kirby. Stan Lee and David Campiti work together to write and teach lessons to go with this art, creating a masterful guide. It even has advice on how to start a career in the comic industry and suggested schools. These are placed right in front of the index, which can be used to navigate the book.
I personally find this to be a great book(If you couldn't tell). I would recommend it to other artists or aspiring artists, even those who aren't interested in comics. The help can be interpreted to improve almost any artwork, and any artist's skills. My favorite chapter is the third, which is about perspective, form, and foreshortening. It goes really into depth and is super helpful. I've owned and read other comic guides and I must say this is among- if not the best so far. So, you better read it... ok? Great read. 10/10 ( )
