Even if you haven't read the original Pride and Prejudice or Pride and Prejudice with Zombies (I read it as a graphic novel), Dreadfully Ever After stands on its own. It is FUN! I enjoyed all of the action and the subterfuge and the rewriting of English history, all of it, especially the underlying “be who you” are message. I’m not particularly fond of zombies, but this storyline was so enjoyable to try and imagine these “ladies” wielding all manner of weaponry to eliminate their foes.

This is one of those times I liked the sequel better than the original, but that's only because it didnt have as much of the old English in it and it was easier for me to understand and I didn't need to keep rereading passages like I did in P&P&Z. This book was very entertaining, the illustrations were very good. I was glad to read so much from Kitty's point of view. I would recommend this book. 4.5 out of 5 stars. ( )

A follow up to Pride and Prejudice and zombies but by a different author. Darcy is bitten by a dreasdful and Lizzie mustv travel to London to find a cure to save him. Not as funny as the first book in series. ( )

This book is a fun conclusion to the series and also offers an interesting message about Imperialism. There are numerous references throughout to the end of the Regency era and the loss of Britain's American colonies. Additionally, without divulging specific plot details, the English are forced to confront the reality that their belief in their racial superiority is not only flawed, but possibly responsible for the zombie infestation.
