Op dit moment geen Discussie gesprekken over dit boek. the faux cut-paper illustrations are cute, but.... the limited palate makes all the kids white, even those who are probably meant to be other races. ( ) Review: I like this book for two reasons. The first reason is that vivid illustrations. They are bright and colorful, and use soft edges so that children may interpret them easily. The second reason is the story. The story follows water (agua) through its many different uses. The main idea of this book is to show the many ways water can be used. This book was interesting to read. I liked this book for the language in it and the fact that it pushes readers. The language in this book is written in the Spanish language. This allows a variety of uses for this book. Students of any age that are learning Spanish as a secondary language can read this book to learn practice their Spanish skills. This book also can be used to push readers. I used this book in teaching a non-native English-speaking student about main ideas of a text. Reading this book in Spanish made this student feel more comfortable in understanding the text but still pushes the student to think about the main idea of the book, which is what water is needed for. The message of this book is that water is used in almost everything in life and that water is a necessity of life. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
