This is the original Book 2 of the After Cilmeri Series. There are 2 Novellas that add to the stories. They are labelled as 0.5 and 1.5.

Novella 0.5 is called Daughter of Time and tells the prequel of how David came to be the son of Llewelyn, despite growing up in 21st century America.

Novella 1.5 tells the story of how David's mother Meg, travelled back in time to Medieval Wales to join her children and finally marry the love of her life, Prince Llewelyn app Gryffudd.

As for this Book, 2 years have passed since David and Anna arrived in wales. David is now 16 and is now considered to be a man in this era. he is now a soldier, a diplomat, a strategist and a leader of the Welsh people.

The English Nobility, known as the Lords of the Marche, make plans to take over wales for themselves because wales is a very bountiful land. David has to deal with the Welsh Nobility, men who seek to betray him and King Edward of England.

David also takes an unexpected trip back to 21st century America, and he spends that time wisely. He prints of hundred of pages of information from the Internet, mostly to do with medieval weapons, and herbal lore, Welsh law and history and English history as it pertains to Wales.

Upon his return to Wales, David uses this knowledge to confound the English and win a peace treaty for Wales.

I gave this 5 stars becauee there is a ton of action in this book. There are also lots of philosophical conversations about what it means to kill a man. In war, it is either kill, or be killed. ( )
