This is a fast-paced, thrilling ride full of action, danger, humor, and a little romance. I loved the unique storyline: girl has experimental operations performed regularly on her brain to remove her memories. Plus some quirky characters really added to the uniqueness of this book, i.e. PTSD soldiers, Oscar, etc. A great read that doesn't end until the last page! (

I love the front cover of this book and while I enjoyed the story, there was nothing new about it. Even though it was full of action with a strong female protagonist, which was great, the majority of the book seemed to go nowhere. However, I did like Thomas. Not only was he a highly intelligent geek, he also had a sense of humour which made me smile, but the romance between he and Sarah didn't work. They acted more like friends than 'lovers'. As for the ending, that was anticlimactic as the "baddie" spent pages revealing all the secrets. While not a favourite, "Tabula Rasa" was a solid debut. (

Read Tabula Rasa by Lippert-Martin - a good suspense thriller with lots of twists. A young woman is undergoing treatment to have her memory wiped. Of course, she comes to realize that she doesn't really want to do that and starts taking steps to avert completion. But that is only the beginning. Its an action book and it keeps you on your toes. It is a teen book, but should also appeal to adults who like fast action

This book is everything it promises and more. If in its synopsis didn't compare it to The Bourne Identity and Divergent, I would have made the comparison myself. It's fast-paced, filled with action, drama, funny and with a little bit of romance. One of the most incredible things about Tabula Rasa is that it manages to make the reader emotionally invested in its characters and relationships in such a short period of time. Great book, great read. If you guys love Divergent, Delirium, The Hunger Games, or action movies in general, this is your book.
