I am such a fan of HM Ward's writing style. My goodness, she can weave a story! I love it!

Stripped is part of the Ferro Brothers series and focuses on Jonathan. (although all of the Ferros make an appearance)

Jonathan is a playboy, a bastard, a conceited ass. He is also a broken little boy who was violated and hurt and doesn't understand that what happened in his life wasn't all his fault. HM makes you hate him, pity him, hurt for him and love him.

Cassie Hale is a stripper. Hired to entertain at a party not knowing that it's a Farro party and she will n be confronted with Jonathan Farro who she loved as a younger woman. Jonathan Farro who she hasn't seen since he ran out of her life.

Cassie isn't the innocent girl Jon remembers. When he knew Cassie she was a virgin scared to open up to anyone. Convinced that she had to wait for "Mr. Right" to marry her to give herself to him. Jon Farro was certainly not Mr. Right. Or was he? Cassie becomes the person he trusts most, the person that he wants to be with all the time, the best friend he so badly needed. The woman he falls in love with. Until the betrayal.

The story starts in the present, but takes place mostly in the past and lays the story of Jon and Cassie and their young blossoming love. You find yourself understanding Jon and Cassie and how both of them have been hurt by their families. The begin to understand each other and trust each other...and love each other.

Then we come back to the present. And Jon is so angry with Cassie, but he still feels a pull towards her. He wants to understand what happened to her, and why she is who she is now.

And then there's a cliffhanger. Aaaaaargh!!

It's worth it, though. It's a GREAT story. The characters are intense and exciting. The story is full of emotion. I highly recommend it! ( )

Those Ferro brothers continue to drive me crazy! They are all hunks with a tendency to get in trouble no matter what. Jon is not different. He is now faced with the situation where the girl he left behind is stripping for him at a gentleman's club and private parties. He cannot deny how he feels about her.

As with all the other HM Ward books on the Ferros, this one will both delight you and entice you with the HOT Ferro-style love. Definitely a book you will not want to put down.... ( )

I love that Cassie doesn't swoon over Jon when they first meet - He has to work for it and work hard.
Just when things are coming together they fall apart but we aren't really sure what happened.
When Jon see's Cassie again after the fall out he is bitter but realizes he still loves her and wants to save her. He needs to find a way to get her to trust him again to let him in. Lots of sexual tension.
An ending leaving you wanting more - Not really a cliff hanger. ( )

STRIPPED by H.M. Ward is the first novel about the youngest Ferro brother, Jonathan. What was I thinking requesting an ARC for this book?!? Getting to read and review it sooner just means I have to wait that many more days until STRIPPED 2: The Ferro Family is released.
