I loved this story so much. It pulled me in and I couldn't stop reading. I read the entire book in ONE day, it was that good. Raine Miller really knows how to write. I love her books. Neil.. ahh what can I say? He is definitely right up there with Ethan. My God.. these men.. LOL love them. ( )

Raine Miller has rocked another book! PURELY and SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!! Somehow this book managed to get away from me and I’m so glad I finally go to start it. It was a excellent read, I finished it in a day, granted it was a pretty undisturbed day but, it was still a day! Cherry girl could easily be a stand alone because much of Neil & Elaina’s story happens before The Blackstone Affair Series begins, there is a small overlap but not enough to confuse you. I was a HUGE fan of the Blackstone Affair books, and after reading this book, I know its time to go back and read them again, it just made everything so fresh in my mind…

Now on to Cherry Girl, as the Raine Miller fans know this book is about Elaina & Neil, their journey to one another. When we meet Neil, he comes into Elaina’s family via Ian her brother. We soon discover that Neil has lost all of his family in one way or another. But he immediately captures the hearts of Elaina’s family, he is taken in to the family and cements his place of belonging even more when he saves Elaina after she falls from a fence. And Elaina is immediately smitten with him. There was an innocent connection that she had with him. Though there is an age gap in the beginning, time eventually passes and Neil comes home on leave to find that its finally the right time to make some sort of move forward with Elaina. I have to tell you this book has a few ups and downs. It was so fantastic the way it was all weaved together. Its amazing how a story can be born out of the back-story of another. And then it just fits as if it was always there.
