The Reed Brothers series is hands-down one of my favorite series. I adore everything about the series, from the family bond to the romantic relationships. Each brother brings his own personality to the series, creating unique storylines that are super addictive. While each book is a standalone, reading the prior books in the series is slightly necessary to understand all the connections. Proving Paul’s Promise (PPP) is the highly anticipated joining of Paul and Friday. Since book 1, Tall, Tatted and Tempting, there has been a deep chemistry brewing between these two. Paul refrained from making a move for multiple reasons, but now that the biggest misunderstanding has been cleared up, it’s his time to go big or go home. Friday has been a mystery since day one. It’s been obvious she’s hiding something, but darn, I did not expect her history to be what it was. I feel Proving Paul’s Promise lived up to the hype that surrounded its release. I loved how even though there were some obstacles threatening Paul and Friday’s future, there was no denying the feelings between the couple. All the brothers are involved in the story quite a bit; it was great seeing how their relationships have progressed. I do feel that PPP could have been a little longer, but not because anything was missing…Besides a certain someone’s real name!! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

He has watched her from afar...Paul Reed has been raising children since he was a child himself, but he wouldn't change his life, even if given an opportunity. That is, until one of his brothers says four little words that shake the foundation of his world. "She's not a lesbian," shouldn't be quite so earth shattering, but suddenly the woman he loves is available, and he'll do whatever it takes to win her over. They call her Friday, and she's hiding more than just her name...Friday has worked in the Reeds' tattoo parlor for four years. She's become more than just an employee, and she loves being in the middle of something so wonderful. She treasures the way the Reeds live for one another, and she adores the way they take care of their family. She would do just about anything to be part of it, if not for the fact that she doesn't deserve a family of her own. Or does she? Friday is punishing herself for her past, and by doing so, she pushes away the one man who could truly love her.Separately, they're strong. Together, they're vulnerable. As a team, they rock.
