"Jesus' Family Tree" by Rose Publishing makes the dry Bible genealogies come alive! The books reviews the 5 major genealogies in the Bible, the purpose of each, and how they relate to Jesus. Like all the Bible, everything ties back to Jesus. Adam's genealogy shows the effect of Adam's sin and God's provision of grace, preserving mankind despite its sins. Abraham is where God personally intervened and began creating a nation from which the Messiah would be born. Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Moses each had their part. David and the kings of Israel showed what kings should and should not do. Everyone fell short--except God, Who perseveres to the birth of Jesus, Who aside from being God, is also the perfect example of how mankind should and could live. (
