It was amazing getting to see Maizy and Denver finally together because let's face it, it was destined to happen. I love that we get to see all of our favorites in each book so I don't have to mourn them really. I'm so eager for the last installment but dreading it all the same I'm not ready for this ride to end its been quite the journey and I'll always have a reread with this series. 5+ stars yet again. ( ) I have waited for Denver and Maizy's story since I read the first book. I have always loved both of them. Here are my thoughts: 1. This book gives you lots of information about Maizy as a grown up. It was good to not continue to see her as a child, you know!? I was worried it would still feel 'weird' but you are certainly aware Maizy is all grown up now. 2. You still get the details about the other pack members. Getting to check in with everyone is always awesome and of of the things I love about a series. 3. The story gives you both Denver's POV and Maizy's so you get to see a bit of whats going on in both their heads. 4. While both of them struggle with their feelings, the entire book isn't about that alone. I hate books that center around miscommunication between the H and h. However, I felt this book was a little lacking. When it ended, I was like "Wait, what? Its just over?". I wanted more! Maybe because I love them so much but whatever the reason, it felt abrupt. Two Minutes by Dannika Dark (Audio Edition) Narrated by Nicole Poole Seven Series #6 ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ This book starts around 10 years or so later, from the last one. Maizy is all grown up and returns home. Now, I was really looking forward to this book.. It didn’t disappoint, however I kinda thought I would laugh more than I did. In the other books Denver was always a bit goofy, in his own story I found him a bit more serious. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Maizy and Denver. I loved how honest she was with her feelings towards him and wowza.. Did they sizzle when they got together! That scene with them was wonderfully written. The Narrator still did a great job however was not as great as usual - there were a few spots where it was almost like she cut and paste a bit of dialogue, and sometimes those seemed to be in another “character’s” voice, so I was confused for a brief moment when that happened. It wasn’t horrible, but not as perfect as the last 5 books in this series. Up next is Charming - Prince’s story. He’s seems like a good guy.. Should be a good read, as I have enjoyed the rest of this series! Original review posted at: http://paragraphsandpetticoats.blogspot.ca/ What can I say that hasn't already been said by others? This book has passion, death, comedy, family, resilience, love, and secrets. I enjoyed Denver & Maizy's story. Ms. Dark does a stupendous job at weaving a story through emotional baggage and relationship turmoil. I always enjoy her Breed stories. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
After years of living abroad, Maizy returns home to the only family she's ever known-a pack of wolves. When she confronts her childhood watchdog to see where they stand, his resentment leaves her uncertain about where she really belongs. Behind Denver's charming smile is a tragic past-one that's made his wolf savage and unpredictable. Only Maizy has been able to tame that darkness, and when they're reunited after many years apart, he no longer sees a child he once protected. She's captivating and intelligent-a woman with the world at her fingertips and two suitors offering more than he ever could. Torn between two worlds, Maizy must choose how her fairy tale ends. Tragedy, murder, passion, and imprisonment all collide with a heart-stopping twist. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
