For my latest read I stepped out my comfort zone and decided to give a new author a try. Just the title of the novel, Spring Fling Kitty brings a smile to my face. There are no hidden tactics, no overly sexy scenarios or dark agendas with Rachelle Ayala's Connor and Nadine. What you get is straight forward at times flighty and not always pretty storytelling. Nadine grapples with being overshadowed by her successful but insincere half -sister. Let me just say Elaine is a piece of work that has a huge superiority complex. Connor and Nadine both deserved better. Adding to the cuteness factor was Nadine's cat who had such a sassy attitude I hoped it would rub off on Nadine. Spring Fling Kitty is an motivational story that left me with a smile in my heart. ( )

It all starts when Nadine is in a tree chasing her cat "Greyheart". Her father does one thing that gets it all in the motion.

It gets even better and more twist and turns as you read the story. It is mostly about Nadine and Connor Hart. What makes it even more entertaining is that Michael and Elaine and Nadine want to have their father worry about their lives.

Does Nadine father love her or not? To find out you would need to read the story. Michael wants something, but what is the question.

Connor is bugged about his love life though his family and sisters. Who is Connor true love? Nadine does not want to play second fiddle or be a side piece to any man. Will Nadine get her wish and is Connor Hart, her true love? Elaine is an older half sister to Nadine will she help her sister or is she using Nadine for herself? ( )

Intrigue abounds in the latest novel from Rachelle Ayala! Families can be complicated, especially when there is a mistress and a woman scorned. Nadine is a dreamer and an artist (with an adorable cat to boot). Connor is a heart-throb fire chief (with a super lovable puppy). Next, throw in a 1/2 sister engaged to the fire chief and a few more unstable family members and we have a story that will keep you laughing throughout.

Humor is a theme that is not often found in romantically themed novels, but it should be! I really liked the light tone that Spring Fling provided for my poolside reading. Summertime is the perfect time to relax with a great lighthearted story. ( )

Rachelle Ayala has a way of writing sweet love stories and this one is one of those. It’s a quick easy read but one you’ll enjoy if you like love stories and happy endings. Who doesn’t like a good love story every once in a while? But not only is this a love story, it also has some surprises mixed in as well that keeps you wanting to read on to the very end.

The story is about two sisters who are very different and one drop dead good looking fire chief who is planning on marrying one of the sisters, Dr. Elaine Woo. When Dr. Woo seeks the help of her sister Nadine she didn’t expect her to fall madly in love with her fire chief fiancé, Connor who her rescued her and her little kitty Greyheart. But these things happen along with several other surprising events.

I highly recommend this book along with the others in the Have a Hart Book series. ( )

As a cat person I really must say that that sweet little Kitty has stolen my heart.
As for the Harts
I LOVE this family, they're so real and down to earth with their flaws and lots of love.

Connor and Nadine got off to a guilt-ridden start that some may not appreciate and others might view as outright betrayal but the path of the heart does not always run straight. I always look for a moral in these stories and I might have gotten it wrong this time.
It looks a lot like things go wrong when you try to dictate to your heart what it wants.
We basically had characters who attempted to go against their hearts and it resulted in a rubberband effect of sorts.
It was all too amusing to read. Though I did feel somewhat bad for Elaine. ( )
