Definitely not for me, but unlike most of these books this one didn't focus on girly glam, manic pixie dream girl teens, or anything too offensive.

Olga, cute name choice btw, finds a brand new species that looks like a blobfish, pug, and pig hybrid.

She's happy and talks all about animals and other neat things. I wanted her to focus more on animal facts but this book got distracted along the way.

I still found it cute.

Lot of fart humor, though. So if you can't handle that, get away from this series. ( )

So many great things in here - a female protagonist with a science hobby and an obsession with the scientific method, a odd adorable animal creature that she discovers, great messaging about being yourself and not giving into peer pressure, charming and delightful text and illustrations with tons of visual humour. I'm such a huge fan of anything that Gravel does. ( )
