I will admit I did not love this book as much as the previous book in this series. I thought the the cast of characters shrunk so dramatically and I really did miss alot of them. I still think the world building and the way it was crafted was is still well done. I think the myth elements were not as strong and the made the book less enjoyable and made it harder to read. But overall, the book was a intreating conclusion and I am excited to see what this author writes next! (

The first thing I'd like to know: Who wrote this synopsis?!?!? It has so many spoilers for the first book!??!?!

DON'T READ THE SYNOPSIS IF YOU DIDN'T READ THE FIRST BOOK

I'm really excited to start this, but I'll have to wait till January :(

I didn't like this one as much as the first book. There was always a lot going on but it still seemed to drag quite a bit for me. It never really hooked me enough into not wanting to put it down. I did like how the story eventually unfolded. The ending was also very good. (

I enjoyed this book a lot. But there where parts that felt rushed and oddly worded at times, I had to reread some sentences for it to make sense. I personally would've liked more detail about the Alchemist and the Sorceress' past.
The end was a little rushed I felt. But at the very end it did suggest that there is more to the story. So who knows there might be more. Or it's just an open ending. (
