Told by multiple students involved in the March for Our Lives movement, the chapters detail the events after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting. A group of students found each other and started talking to press, politicians, and organizing political action to address the issue of gun violence in the US. Pictures, texts of speeches, and memories from the months after the shooting make up the text. The book ends with a ten-point platform.
A powerful story and primer for activism and taking action. ( )
