The ogre was hungry so he ate all the food that was in sight but he was still hungry. So he saw that May Belle had planted flowers, then he ate the flowers. May Belle made the ogre plant a new garden with her and they ate the food that they planted. Then May Belle gave the ogre a note to read but instead he ate it. She told him it said to have tea with her at 2. May Belle tells ogre that she is going to help him read. While getting things together for the tea party, May Belle spells words out and writes it down on a note for ogre to see and to read but he doesn't. But at the last time, he finally reads the word May Belle wrote and spelled for him. Ogre was bored so May Belle gets the ogre to do things so he wouldn't be bored anymore but when ogre was spinning and hit a bee hive, he had to jump in the pond to get away from them.
