This books is a great resource for us as a homeschooling family. My daughter is currently in 5th grade, and found the entries fun and interesting. A good resource, particularly since the current pandemic has limited our ability to go on field trips and take part in co-op learning opportunities. Definitely recommended as a supplementary text for those learning at home. ( )

This book probably isn't what you think it is, although it is pretty neat. I would describe it as a science dictionary of sorts. It goes through various areas of science and defines all of the major things you would need to know to navigate that area effectively. It presents them very simply, so it's a great resource for your kids, no matter what science class they're in. This would also be a really great gift for a kid interested in science. It's well organized and has great images. ( )

The title makes this book sound like it will be an instructional book. It is not. It is a dictionary of science terms with some illustrations. A nice little reference book but not really what I was expecting or something I would pay for to add to my library. ( )

Great book to add to our Homeschool Science Library. An easy reference guide when needing quick answers that have a visual aide needed. My visual learner has found the colorful pictures and easy to understand explainations very helpful in daily science studies. ( )

Stress-Free Science is an excellent resource to have on your shelves! I would purchase it as soon as my child hits 4th grade and plan for it to be well-used until they graduate from high school. The book is colorful, written in easy to understand language and is broken up into the different branches of science to make searching for your answer even easier. Most definitions include verbal examples and many also include a photo or drawing as well. The last section is absolute gold - a reference section with methods, conversion tables, summary sheets for important topics, and directions for creating different types of graphs. I received this as a free book in exchange for a review and am so glad that this is now on my shelves for the next few years. I will be using it as a reference book for my tutoring business. ( )
