(1999) Probably the best of the series as he doesn't dwell on the gruesome part of the story about a female lawyer who hires an assassin to kill her boyfriend's wife, & then the lawyer and killer become friends and serial killers. This was an...okay...book. The story wasn't too bad, it was pretty well constructed, but it was just one of those simple "beach read" books. One of my biggest gripes was the interactions between the characters. They were odd. Everyone seemed to be awkward with each other, which is a vibe you shouldn't get from a well constructed book. Usually I hate when I read a book from the middle of a series, but this one just showed me that I don't need to read any more of this series. One and done for me. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
