The illustrations are awesome. Love them. ( )Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. This book was very informative and would be a great edition for any child who is interested in animals and ask a lot of questions. It talks about a variety of large animals and discusses how they are born and how they live and grow, ending with humans. It is great for children to think about how animals are different. The illustrations are artfully drawn, but they pages are pretty text-heavy. I think this would be a great read-aloud for early elementary children, one animal at a time. It would be too much all at once for the younger set. Or a good read for older children. This edition is written in Spanish. Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. Not sure why I was expecting this book to be in English and Spanish.... this book is completely in Spanish. It is however a cute book, that tells of how different baby animals are born. I had fun reading it to the boys as they tried to guess the animal - by the picture. :) I also learned the names of animals in both languages. Cute book, full of very interesting information, but definitely for a child that is more advanced in Spanish. Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. This book is amazing ! this book portrays the way animals give birth such as; elephants, giraffes, polar bear, lions, hippopotamus etc. This informs the reader how animals give birth, how they grow, what they eat, an interesting fact and what they know. Illustrations of the book are colorful and attention grabbing. The end of the book contains a glossary and index which I found to be very helpful. Especially, because some children might not know what certain words mean. The only reason I gave the book 4 stars is because when it mentions how a human is born, it reads how mom and dad went to the hospital to wait for the baby's arrival. I think in our world today not every mother arrives at the hospital with the father of the child. Overall, the book is very informative. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
All mammal mothers feed, protect and teach their young¿tasks that often challenge their own needs for survival. All mammal babies must learn how to feed and protect themselves. The fascinating introduction to the world of mammals reveals how fourteen mammal babies travel the path from helpless infants to self-sufficient adults.. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
