Snow falls from the black sky beyond the windows, and candles glow--the flames lighting up the longest night of the year. Devil's Night isn't the only holiday we celebrate. Tonight, we're pulling on different masks. Some call it Midwinter. Others call it Yule. We call it Fire Night. *Fire Night is a 28K word Devil's Night holiday novella suitable for readers 18+. I absolutely adored this book.

We meet our characters during the Fire Night event in Saint Killian, but as always, something bad happens, someone is put into danger, and someone is murdered. How the night is going to end?

The first part: Kai

I am sure that Kai is the most boring character of the horsemen. And Damon was right when he said That their house is the most silent one, and that they probably ask each other for sex through the phone.
So respectfully, this was the most boring part - I hardly went through her. I wanted to stop at one moment.

The second part: Damon.

Oh, you, beautiful man. How much I love you! This was the best part. I loved how emotional Damon got, and I enjoyed his interaction with his mother I have to say I cried my eyes out and wanted to hug him. . He is the absolute best character and his growth is significant.

The third and the fourth part: Will and Michael

I write this as one, because these two parts felt so connected, that I couldn't write them apart. Holy shit, you psycho, I love you Madds. This kid has so much potential to be the ultimate antihero.

And here I am at the end, shipping Madds and Octavia who are goddamn cousins, but I can't care less, cause their chemistry is over the roof. And some people will say it's wrong, and incest, and they, obviously, have never read anything by Seven Rue or K. Webster, but no one can deny such a strong attraction between characters. So I hope, in the close future, if Penelope decides to write a story about these two, to pull out the swiped-baby-at-the-hospital-cars with Madds, so they can have their love story. ( )

A final installment in the Devil's Night series. Fire Night takes place in winter and also plays a part in a local legend of star-crossed lovers who lost their lives - but no, this isn't Romeo and Juliet.

The Devil's Night crew are now 10 years into their "happily ever afters" and kids are running around. They have money and they have power. They basically own/run Thunder Bay where they live. They are striving for higher ambitions.

Secret family blood ties are completely open now and everyone knows each other intimately; literally, they've had orgies and threesomes, and watched each other have sex together...so, if you're not into any of that - this series isn't for you.

There's a sudden heart-stopping situation involving the kids and things go into overdrive.

This gives us a look at potential continuation or spin-off series having to do with the children as well.

Check all trigger and content warnings on your own before reading. 18+ recommended. Spice scale: 1

The perfect morsel.

Any chance I have to jump into this works is a must. This was just what I needed. The only thing that could have made it better is if it was longer.

I'm always amazed with how this author can cram so much emotion and works building into a little story. She truly is a wizard. ( )

Damn this novella was really good!! The Banks and Kai part was so cute and hot omg. I feel so bad for Banks but so happy at the same time that she has a family. Damon is such a great father. Will and Emory are SO cute. And I’m so happy for Michael and Rikas soon to be baby. Mads is such an interesting character. I would love for him to have a love story with Octavia except that there cousins ( )
