For anyone looking to deepen their spiritual walk by reading through the Bible in a year, this keepsake journal offers a reading schedule with daily Scripture assignments and room to record three years' worth of responses. Derived from the popular Daily Question series, The Daily Bible Project follows the same three-year structure in this new keepsake journal. Instead of a prompt, however, each page offers a Scripture reading assignment for the day, along with brief journaling spaces to fill with your favorite verses or your own questions and revelations experienced while reading. The daily reading plan is specially designed to keep you on track but not overwhelmed- . The daily readings are chronological but include chapters from the Old and New Testaments. . Each day's reading prompt assigns roughly three chapters of Scripture. . You'll read through the entire Bible each year, for three years. . Indicating just the Scripture reference, the journal can be used with any Bible translation or version. With room for three years' worth of responses, The Daily Bible Project offers a unique opportunity to track your spiritual growth and progress year over year.… (meer)

If you are like me and have often resolved to read your Bible in a year to varying levels of success, this journal might be right up your alley. Designed to take you through the Bible in a year with readings from both the New and Old Testaments, this journal keeps you on track with space for three years worth of reading and record your note and insights.

It is easy to use with 5 1/2 lines per day, perfect for concise and compact notes. I like that with this journal you can choose the translation of the Bible that you like best for your readings, and even switch it up year to year or even day to day. I personally don't like to write in my Bible, so this journal is the perfect place for me to jot down takeaways from the text in a neat and organized way that makes it easy to look back on, without actually writing in your Bible. But even if you do like to write notes in your Bible, this journal is an excellent companion and adds additional space for those notes. In addition to room for journaling it also includes a few extras, with pages with an index of verses for when you need, joy, peace, comfort, overviews, and fun facts about different Bible translations.

I'm excited to start this journal fresh on January 1st, but it would also make an excellent gift to give just in time for Christmas. I was impressed with the clever design. Definitely worth checking out for yourself or as a gift for a friend or family member this Christmas!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. ( )

5 stars, Awesome reading

THE DAILY BIBLE PROJECT
by Ink & Willow

I adore this book, I can't decide if it's a journal, a diary, or a tool to help a person read the Holy Bible in one year. Regardless, it's a beautiful book, that is sectioned out with three individual sections on every page, with recommended Bible passages to read, part from the Old Testament, and part from the New Testament every day to accomplish the goal of reading the entire Bible in one year. The sections are lined, but it is not dated with a year, so you can start it whenever you want be it January 1st or March 22. You would fill in the years as you go along.

There is plenty of space along the sides so you can doodle or add additional notes as you need or want to.

Highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to further their knowledge of the Holy Bible, anyone who journals, or likes to write in a diary. It's a perfect resource, gift, and treasure. I personally keep a five-year journal, writing a few paragraphs every single day, so it's quite feasible for me to switch over to this journal for my walk in The Word.

I humbly appreciate the complimentary copy of #thedailybibleproject from #inkandwillow I was under no obligation to post a review. #waterbrookmultnomah #waterbrook #2021bestnewnonfiction #Christianstudies #inkandwillowgifts #multnomah #waterbrookpress ( )

What an easy way to keep track of your bible reading, your prayers, and spiritual growth, and a quick way to look back at the previous years, and see how you have grown, how your prayers were answered, and the way you have grown in your daily bible reading.

I loved the hint that you could read a different translation each year, there is space for three years of reflections, and compare your answers.

We are also given bonus pages that make you think and want to investigate further, The Bible by Numbers, Verses for when you need Hope, Names for God, Comparing the Gospels, Verses for when you need Comfort, Verses for when you need Joy!

I have now using this and loving it, and know what I'll be sharing with my family!

I received this book from the Publisher, and was not required to give a positive review. ( )

The Daily Bible Project is a three-year journal published by Ink & Willow. It is a softbound book with a year-long chronological plan for users to read through the Bible. On each page are three separate areas, one for each year, for the user to write thoughts or questions about the day's reading. I like that one could look back at the year(s) before journal notes to see changes and growth in one's faith and understanding of that particular day's Bible passage. Throughout the book, there are a number of color pages that have a variety of interesting tidbits of information, such as Names for God, Verses for when you need hope, peace, joy, or comfort, The Bible by numbers, and Textual criticism, comparing the Gospels, as well as several others. At the back of the book, there is another reading plan that could be used, The Old and New Testament sequential plan. This is a beautiful book that would be great for one's personal use or for gift giving. I read a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review. The opinions are my own. ( )
