Before beginning my journey of trying to be a good Christian woman, after being inspired to become a Christian blogger by the publication of my first two Christian fiction books days before my 69th birthday in January 2020, I’d been your typical secular woman. As such, I didn’t have any relationship with the Lord besides attending church with my parents on the major Christian holidays.

Since beginning my journey, I’ve gotten and have developed an ongoing increasing relationship with the Lord, and with this relationship, a question that keeps popping up inside my head is:

“How many of us genuinely acknowledge our Lord and Savior to reap the rewards we’ve been promised?”

I believe a decent beginning to begin the search might be ROMANS 10:9 [NKJV], where we read:

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

The question that comes up frequently here deals with our ability to enter the Kingdom of Heaven so we can be with our gracious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our knowledge of what it takes to accomplish this sought-after endeavor of all Christians. The question with its answer can get found in 1 CORINTHIAN 6:9-10 [NKJV].

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”

I feel this can be the cornerstone of a relationship with the Lord and the foundation in which we’ll be able to bring our existence to a higher level as Christians. Reading the pages of her book, I found Pastor Elaine Briefman taking her readers on a pathway of discovery and self-examination through a journey of 75 topics connected to our lives as Christians and achieving a grandeur transparency in our relationship with the Lord. Each topic on its own is meaningless; however, together, a completed jigsaw puzzle becomes a major tool in taking them to the next level in their lives as Christians and in their relationship with the Lord.

As a Christian woman who has discovered many of the things Pastor Briefman wants her readers to achieve as an understanding, I can recognize why she wants them to look at improving their relationship with the Lord and achieving improved lives as Christians, as being, using the vernacular, the IN thing to do. For her desire to achieve this, as a Christian woman, and voracious reviewer of nonfiction Christian books, I’ve given Pastor Briefman 5 STARS for her endeavor here. ( )
