Ms.Frizzle starts out talking about bats and the children of course ask questions. Tim states that there are bats at his house and his dad could help them study bats. So they all take a field trip down to Tim's house. When they arrive to Tim's house, brown little bats are hanging from the roof. Ms.Frizzle explains how they sleep and why they sleep where and how they do. They then get back into the bus and head through the forest to go to the cave where the bats used to live. When they arrive to the cave, there are a bunch of bats hanging from the ceiling. They enter the cave quietly and explain the what bats eat, and how they go about their life. This book is a good book. I learned things I didn't know about bats. I think this would be good for my friends to read if they ever needed information on bats. The book is very simple but of course straight to the point and educational. It definitely has good information especially for younger aged group people. If anyone ever needed to have a bit of information about bats I would tell them this book has a good basic set up for bats. This is a good example of an informational book, since it delves into facts about bats. This book is condensed for a younger audience, such as second graders. It fetchers colorful cartoon pictures of the magic school bus, Ms. Frizzle and students, with fewer words than the standard chapter book versions. Our fictional characters take us on a wild ride investigating how bat survive. Media: pencil, water color geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
