Practice manuscript handwriting in a challenging new way! The Trace-A-Story series publishes classic stories in traceable cursive and manuscript handwriting. This gives children extra practice in a more challenging setting and gives them a reason to complete the practice book. Every story is broken up into sections so that it's not too intimidating. One section per day is ideal, but since every person learns at different speeds, more or less can be done per day. Story Summary: Once there was a father of three pretty young women who lost his riches and had to go to town. He asked each of his them what they wanted from town and the youngest, named Beauty, only asked for a rose. On his way back from town he found some beautiful roses at an estate that seemed deserted, so he picked one. Upon doing so, a beast appeared and threatened the father's life. The father asked to be spared and in return one of his daughters would come and live with the beast. The beast agreed and Beauty agreed to be the one. When she arrived at the estate, the beast explained to her that he and his place are cursed. Will Beauty find a way to break the curse? Or will she have to live with the beast forever?… (meer)
