This book contains 31 words related to the USA celebration of the holiday: Halloween. Hands-of-Language incorporates the American Sign Language Manual Alphabet and Braille (for the seeing) into it's workbooks because Hands-of-Language recognizes that our hands are used to write, read (Braille) and speak (Sign Language). Combining tracing, free writing, signing and braille writing for each word provides the learner with a visual and tactile representation of the word. It is recommended to add a tool to the braille part as it will make the braille much more tactile. Some examples of tools are: tactile pen, braille cube, braille standard slate, and braille alphabet tray. Any of these (or anything of the like) will add enrichment to the braille spelling of this book. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
