This is a quick fun read. It is a nice break from “real politics” and had me laughing out loud throughout. I loved the wit and humor throughout this short book. It was so much fun reading this President’s ideas for a better country including having a 100% literate society, conquering the illegal drugs problem, fighting crime, stopping all wars, and getting rid of the IRS. It was so funny- to replace the IRS she started the National Sales Tax Elective or NSTE for short which sounds like “nasty” and therefore started the nasty movement. It’s hilarious how you never learn the President’s name, but you learn she works from home with no government salary because she lives off her book royalties. Even though this book is full of humor, I think today’s politicians could take some aspects of this book and put them to good use to get things done and help make a better America. ( )

A Clever Twist on Political Possibilities

Nancy Omeara’s The Most Popular President Who Ever Lived is a satirical book that I found to be engaging and funny as well. It introduces us to a would-be female president who has some ideas that are pretty radical. The book tackles topics that are pretty serious like tax reform and global peace, with the hypothetical leader who's ready to shake things up. Omeara’s narrative style I found to be quick and witty, making complex issues more accessible and entertaining. I think this novel would be a fun choice for those that like their political discussions with a humorous edge. The Most Popular President Who Ever Lived is an exploration of what might be possible with a little imagination in the White House. ( )

It is a funny and different book about politics and leadership. It talks about a female President who speaks her mind and changes how things are done, making life better for everyone. What's special about this satire is how it uses humour to talk about serious political problems. The author uses clever jokes and storytelling to show a future where new ideas and bold actions make politics better.

The book reads like a memoir and covers a lot of topics, like taxes and making peace around the world. It's funny and makes you think at the same time. If you're tired of regular politics or just want a fun book to read, this one is perfect. It's funny, smart, and gives you a new way to look at politics. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes politics or just wants to have a good laugh. ( )

The Most Popular President Whoever Lived by Nancy Omeara is a fictional memoir of a future female US President, before she even took office. It’s a fast pace romp a read and I loved it. It has a completely serious narrative but its told with so much humour it totally had me flicking through the pages with great eagerness, I couldn’t wait to see what was coming next. I absolutely loved the sassiness of this straight talking character, and I just wish she was real, if she was she would get my vote and no doubt the votes of the majority of the US citizens!

The story got me from early on, and the humor had me laughing out loud at some of the things that played out. If you love to be entertained and have a giggle whilst reading then I suggest you give this book a read. Well Done Nancy!! ( )

This was an engaging, witty and worthwhile read, shedding light on a subject few manage to get right. 'The Most Popular President Who Ever Lived' {So Far} by Nancy Omeara offers a clever, satirical take on a future, woman US President, as she publishes her memoir before holding office.

Reading the following was emotionally gratifying for me:: 'Schools went back to teaching the three R's after spirit-draining, outcome-based, test-only, oriented education programs were rejected as character destroying. Hyperactivity was found to get a swift kick when you sent the kids out for recess every 2-3 hours. Funding for music, art, and theatre programs was reinstated.' Ah well, we can dream, can't we?

I pondered at length over this insightful book, and commend the author for putting out there what she feels
could be possible in the future, providing a woman is at the helm. ( )
