Originally published in 1965, I feel its simplistic yet whimsical “story” and accompanying illustrations is just as relevant today. "I Like You" is a high-spirited book for friends. It is literally for anyone who truly understands their best friend. I bought this book a few years ago. It is one of my coffee table books and whenever someone visits who genuinely understands me and vice versa, I have them read it. ( )
