Nabeel Qureshi's book is a raw and honest look into finding out who God is. From Allah, to Jesus is a heart aching yet triumphant memoir. As someone who was a nihilist, from rejecting god and all meaning to life, to finding the resurrection of Jesus plausible, I can honestly relate to this autobiography. Great read! ( )
It is the best book I have read in long time. You get to know Nabeel and his family. He is real about his struggles and doubt. The book shows that we must seek the truth no matter what it is. I was amazed at his perseverance in his pursuit of the truth. Changing your worldview is not easy. I was taken aback by the love and patience of his friends and others in his life. The book had an effect on me that I will not forget. ( )
I don't quite remember how I stumbled upon this one, but I did, and I was glad for it. People's personal stories of faith are always so intriguing to me, and if you're only interested in just simply a dialogue between the two largest Abrahamic faiths today, this is still an interesting read. At the very least, Nabeel will give you a crash course in basic theology, and if that's a word that makes you perk up your ears, this is worth checking out. ( )
