Through the story of a little girl with dwarfism, the reader not only learns about this particular girl's story but also about the difficulties of living with dwarfism. Things I hadn't thought of before, like watching what they eat because the more weight on their small bodies the harder it is for them to move around, shocked me. The book doesn't only focus on the negative aspects of dwarfism, but also positives which I think is a great way to approach any exceptionality or disability in the first place. Yes, there are some downsides, but it's not always a bad thing. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
