The book IT'S NOT WHAT YOU'VE GOT is a book for older elementary kids and Jr high students because it helps kids to see that you should not judge someone based on things that do or do not have. This book gives 10 reasons why money is not always the answer to everything. I think this is a good book to use in the class room because it shows kids that just because someone does or does not have money does not make them different from one another. The pictures in this book help to explain their points because it shows that all the kids are happy, no matter how much money they have. I think this is a really good book for all kids to read. ( ) This book is fabulous for all ages! This is about why money and having materialistic things are not important. It shows kids that hard work and doing what you love is important. Even adults can benefit from this book. It is so wonderful and I think that it should be read to all classrooms! So many classroom discussion can come from this, like talking about what things are valuable to you that are free, such as friends, love, family and more! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, the internationally best-selling author and lecturer, has written a new book in his series of inspirational books for kids. It's Not What You've Got addresses the topics of money and abundance, with the understanding that children's earliest thoughts and perceptions about money are those that will last throughout their lives. The concepts presented in this beautifully illustrated book include: · Money does not define who you are. · It doesn't matter what others have. · Abundance comes in many forms. Unlike most books on this subject, It's Not What You've Got is not a how-to manual on spending and saving for kids, but rather a positive, spiritual approach to the meaning of money.
