I'll definitely try a few recipes though. They'll be perfect for at-work potlucks, where a sense of humor is appropriate. And I don't expect anyone to want more than a few bites of anything in here. I was happy to see a history/cultural impact essay at the beginning, although short. One major downside is the lack of photos. Convoluted recipes that involve making circus trains or penguins out of Twinkies and frosting have no illustration, while recipes that simply involve glopping everything into a bowl have a full-page, full-color photo. You do get to see the sushi at least. I'm grateful for the inspiration of using Twinkies in place of ladyfingers for things like trifle and tiramisu, although all the instant pudding has got to go. And one recipe actually uses French Vanilla coffee creamer as an ingredient. I think that's an ever viler notion than the chicken salad or the turkey stuffing/glaze. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
