{My thoughts} – George and Harold are told they aren’t allowed to compete in the invention convention. So, in order to have a bit of fun they decide to sabotage everyone else’s invention.

They figured since they were going to be in detention the entire day, no one would know it was them. It turns out that someone did know and he turned them in. He decided the damage they did wasn’t worth keeping their secret.

George and Harold then had to write a sentence over and over again. They had to fill up every black board in the room. They’d found a way to finish that easily and quickly which gave them time to write a new comic.

When they finished the comic they snuck out to go and make copies of it. They made the copies on an invention and everything in the comic came to life. The boys weren’t sure what to do so they ran.

Eventually they ended up getting help solving their issue. They got help from none other then Captain Underpants. He helped them to well make matters worse!

If you’d like to know what happens in the book you’ll need to read it. It’s a fun book and I’m looking forward to reading more books in the series in the future! ( )

This is one of the Captain Underpants book from the series. It is good for intermediate readers as it still has illustrations that can capture a readers attention, but also about a paragraph of words on each page. This would be a great book to get students to practice reading as it will keep their interests and provide a thorough story. ( )
