What might have happened if the Germans placed a spy in the U.S. to help work on the atomic bomb? Also, what might have been the result if another spy had been sent to steal the project designs. Larsen plays with this idea in this fast-paced thriller. The story moves quickly but fails somewhat at the end with its pat ending. ( )
