Reviewed by Taylor Rector for TeensReadToo.com Jenny Humphrey, the beloved little sister of Dan Humphrey from the New York Times bestselling series GOSSIP GIRL, is here to tell her own story. After being kicked out of Constance Billard as a freshman, she decides to go to Waverley to start a new life. And she's coming back with a kick! Her roommates Brett and Callie are the two most popular girls at the school and Jenny is taking the place of their old roommate, Tinsley, who was expelled the year before, for something that a lot of the GOSSIP GIRL characters are caught doing. Brett and Callie don't really care what happens to Jenny, even when she has to go up against the Disciplinary Committee for something she didn't do! See what happens to one of my favorite characters in this spin-off of GOSSIP GIRL, the most fun series around! Once I started this book I couldn't put it down, and you won't be able to, either! i dont normally like the teenage girl books like this but i have to say. this book was fabulous! it was realistic, well written, and just awesome. the ending really makes you want to read the next book. its not exactly a cliff hanger but it does leave you wondering. The It Girl was a good book, but it wasn't that great, because a really good book to me is one that i can walk away from, and a lot of the time i would put it down and think, nothing excitting is happening right now, i'll read later. But, i think it had a good theme, because it showed how kids sneak around and how much trouble you could get it. It was pretty good for a spin off. I actually liked it better than the original gossip girls series. geen besprekingen | voeg een recensie toe

The one thing that's kind of annoying is that it's almost as if the characters from Gossip Girl just changed their names and moved to this school. Easy is like Nate, Brandon is like Dan, Brett and Callie combined make a Blair, Heath is like Chuck, and Tinsley and Jenny make a Serena. I didn't really mind it that much, but others might (
