( ) The name-dropping and referring back to episodes has gotten to be a bit much. I love that sort of thing when it is used sparingly, it keeps you grounded in the Star Trek universe, so using the Gorgon (from And the Children Shall Lead) and the alien presence from Day of the Dove as two of the powerful entities that young Q meets was a good idea, but every thing else referred to is also from a TOS or TNG episode. Nothing new to see here. Also too much of the book was spent on what Picard is shown by Q, rather than on what the Enterprise and main characters are actually doing. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
