This book is a great pairing for something like Patricia Polacco's fiction book, Thunder Cake. It would make a wonderful lesson on storms or weather. I liked the fun facts that were placed on some of the pictures in the book, however, it might be hard for some children to get through on their own simply because it is a non-fiction. It might be best if the teacher read it to the student, so that the teacher can make it more interesting and maybe engage the students more through questioning. The book itself is very informative and should definitely be highly considered when planning a weather lesson. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
