What a fun book, starting with the way you open the book! This book is filled with 19 poem, all beautifully illustrated. Even the summary is written in Rhythm & Rhyme. Some poems are solely about the tree, while other incorporate an added character, like a monkey. Many forms of poetry are used and it is written in so young readers can enjoy. This is a great book to add to an elementary classroom. ( )

This is a poetry book about trees and describes different trees through the use of poetry. The different poems are very informative and creative in describing these trees. The pictures are unique and corresponds nicely with the text. Overall, I quite enjoyed this book, and the layout was quite interesting. This book has amazing illustrations with beautiful poetry. ( )
