The story is based arround a visit to a cottage by the sea for a holiday. the daughter of the faimily can see a ghost (who smells horrid) in one of the rooms although noone else can see him. In the end she solves why teh ghost is still there and enables him to go onto his rest withought letting her brothers think that she has gone soft in the head seeing things.
I dont know why but this book had no sence of anticipation as to what was going to happen. It is a ghost story where you would still be able to sleep at night had you to stop.… (meer)
