Abū ʿAbdullāh Muhammad ibn Idrīs al-Shāfiʿī (767–820)

Escrito en el segundo siglo islámico por al-Imam al-Shafi'i (d. 204AH / 820AD), el fundador de una de las cuatro escuelas de derecho sunitas, esta importante obra presenta los principios fundamentales de la jurisprudencia islámica y su influencia continúa el día presente. Durante los primeros años de la expansión del Islam, los exponentes de la doctrina legal islámica se enfrentaron a los problemas planteados por el gobierno y la administración de un imperio diverso y en rápido crecimiento. En Medina y Kufa, así como en otras ciudades del gobierno musulmán primitivo, se tuvieron que desarrollar escuelas de leyes, pero se tomó el genio de Muhammad b. Idris al-Shafi'i, nacido en el año 150AH / 767AD, para establecer los principios mediante los cuales las diversas doctrinas legales podrán sintetizarse en un sistema coherente. En el Risala, que sentó las bases para tal síntesis, al-Shafi'i estableció la autoridad principal, junto solo con el Corán, de la Sunna o el ejemplo del Profeta Muhammad, tal como se transmite en las tradiciones. El profesor Majid Khadduri ha prestado un servicio admirable al hacer disponible este valioso trabajo en inglés. Su excelente traducción utiliza no solo los manuscritos originales de Ibn Jama'a y al-Rabi, que se encuentran en Dar al-Kutub, la Biblioteca Nacional de El Cairo, sino también las ediciones autorizadas, publicado a principios de este siglo, a saber, las ediciones Bulaq y Shakir. En su introducción, el profesor Khadduri describe los antecedentes históricos del Risala y presenta una biografía de al-Imam al-Shafi'i, así como resúmenes detallados anotados de la composición, estructura, sustancia y argumento del texto. Written in the second Islamic century by al-Imam al-Shafi'i (d. 204AH/820AD), the founder of one of the four Sunni schools of law, this important work gives the fundamental principles of Islamic jurisprudence and its influence continues to the present day. During the early years of the spread of Islam, the exponents of Islamic legal doctrine were faced with the problems raised by ruling and administering a diverse and rapidly growing empire. In Medina and Kufa, as well as other cities of early Muslim rule, schools of law had to be developed, but it took the genius of Muhammad b. Idris al-Shafi'i, born in the year 150AH/767AD, to establish the principles by which the various legal doctrines could be synthesised into a coherent system. In the Risala, which laid down the basis for such a synthesis, al-Shafi'i established the overriding authority, next only to the Qur'an, of the Sunna or example of the Prophet Muhammad as transmitted in the traditions.Professor Majid Khadduri has done an admirable service in making this valuable work available in English, His excellent translation uses not only the original manuscripts of Ibn Jama'a and al-Rabi, found at Dar al-Kutub, the National Library in Cairo, but also authoritative editions published earlier in this century, namely the Bulaq and Shakir editions. In his introduction, Professor Khadduri outlines the historical background of the Risala and gives a biography of al-Imam al-Shafi'i as well as annotated, detailed summaries of the composition, structure, substance and argument of the text. He also includes a list of transmitters of traditions, a glossary of the most important Islamic legal terms and a select bibliography. كلما أرى حكمة من حكم الإمام الشافعي أو من أبياته أتمنى لو عرفتها كلها
فهاهي تأتي ب"ريكومينديشن" مرتبة :D

وكلما أقرأ بيتاً يعجبني أدعو أختي أو كل من أراه بقربي كي يستمع ..
كلام بليغ .. مسجّى .. يصلح لكل زمان ومكان ويفيد في تقويم السلوك وتغيير المعتقدات والأفكار عن بعض الأمور يدخل في باب الوصايا الخفيفة النافعة

ولكن وجدت أني عندما أقرأ له حكمة عن طريق المصادفة أتمعن فيها أكثر من كونها مجموعة في ديوان كامل
وكتاب :) لإنها تأتي لوحدها وليس مع مجموعة كي لا نزهد .
